Who these terms are with
These terms are between you and Peak Perspective Media ("we," "us"). By using the Wonderwhile app or wonderwhile.fm you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use Wonderwhile. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13, and old enough where you live to agree to these terms or have a parent's permission.
What Wonderwhile is
Wonderwhile makes audio episodes from your requests. The research, scripts and voices are produced with AI services. The hosts are AI voices, not people.
AI-made episodes can be wrong
Episodes are for information and entertainment. They can contain mistakes, outdated facts or misread sources, even with citations. Check the sources before you rely on anything, and don't use an episode as medical, legal, financial, safety or other professional advice. An episode doesn't reflect our views or those of any source it cites.
What you can't ask for
Don't use Wonderwhile to:
- get practical help to hurt people or break the law, such as weapons, explosives, poisons, drugs, hacking, stalking, fraud or evading police;
- dig into or make claims about private people, or harass, threaten or demean anyone;
- make sexual content, or anything sexual involving minors;
- promote or recruit for violent extremism, or encourage self-harm;
- break the law, infringe others' rights, or interfere with or reverse-engineer the service, or overload it.
We screen requests and may refuse any of them. We may suspend access for misuse.
Your content and ours
You keep whatever rights you have in your requests. You give us permission to use them, and the episodes made from them, to run and improve Wonderwhile as the privacy policy describes. We grant you a personal, non-commercial right to listen to and share the episodes you make. The app, its design, the Wonderwhile name and our software belong to us. Sources an episode cites belong to their owners.
Payments
Paid plans and minute packs, when offered, are bought through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms. Subscriptions renew until you cancel them in your Apple Account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple. We may change prices with notice as Apple's rules require.
Changes and availability
We may change, pause or end features, or the service, and we may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app or on this page before it takes effect. Using Wonderwhile after that means you accept the change.
Disclaimers and limits
Wonderwhile is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it, or $50 if you paid nothing. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide support or maintenance, and isn't responsible for claims about it, including product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property claims. If the app fails to meet any warranty, you can notify Apple for a refund of its purchase price, if any, and Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and can enforce them. You confirm you aren't in a country subject to a US embargo and aren't on a US restricted-party list.
